Camilla Martin kicks ass!
These Scandinavians, why are they so damn good at sports normally dominated
by China? Table tennis used to be the domain of the Middle Kingdom. And then
along came Sweden.
Now, there's the Danish Camilla
Martin who controlled the entire semi-finals match against China's Dai Yun
to win in two games: 11-5, 11-0. With a one-step quickness and reach that brought
her cross-court fast. It looked too easy.
There were three Chinese in the semi-finals. And Camilla. She's up against
Gong Zhichao in the finals, who beat Ye Zhaoying in their semi-finals match.
The tall blond from Denmark is the favorite to win the gold.
Boy, oh boy. She's my favorite of the Games.
