Panorama of Low's Peak, Mt. Kinabalu

Here's a panorama picture (563K) of the top of Mt. Kinabalu just after sunrise. I decided to post a picture instead of a QTVR file because the picture captures the feeling of being at the peak better.

Not as gorgeous...

...as Candyboy, but quite an impressive photo nonetheless!! What equipment did you use to capture that image?

It's not the equipment...

...it's the skill of the photographer! ;-P

I used a Nikon Coolpix 950 and set the AE lock by shooting the first picture perpendicular to the sun to get a consistent exposure. Then I used ULEAD360 to create the panorama.

I was really lucky that day to have perfect weather because the climbers from the day before had told us they were fogged in at sunrise!

Skill! Of course. That must be the missing ingreedient in my photography because I sure haven't been getting any shots like that out of my 990!! :(
