blurb
The school is open after a week long break for the staff. I've been perusing weblogs i usually don't read with my virtual time. After a good deal of reading i've decided the most annoying things about weblogs is when one speaks in one's own language, nicknames, and terms without any context for such things to anyone else.

the world isn't looking. at least, not at my weblog. i veiw my blog as sorta like a pseudo-one-sided conversation and i publically announced that i don't mind if unassociated third parties listen in. they understand or assume the risk that they might not "get it" - but they have comments: an appropriate forum in which to ask for clarification or background stories.
I just don't see the point if you're going to post something for the world to see that's more than a signature or graffiti to only have it be inclusive to you.
its all a matter of who you write them for.
hey ari i miss you. i just got back a few hours ago. it feels weird to be home...a culture shock when it comes to people helping you in the airport (i had one of those asian immigration bags filled with shit). i have a present for you too, but i lost your email address, or i don't know if it's the right one. write me vloehr@wellesley.edu.
i love you, valerie
