well, i did get a straight-edger to drink, once. and i got the captain of goucher's track team to smoke her first cigarette. which promptly led her, a half hour later, to smoke pot for the first time. guess it really is a gateway drug.

i have been a packs-a-day-smoking vegetarian. and i know a vegan who will eat cheese fries smothered in gravy if you get him liquored up.
