So Long Astoria
Drawing by Moi
------------------------------------
No one even knows it's there
the all just drive on by,
they all pass the road to nowhere
and follow the dark pink sky
You're on the road to nowhere,
you're off the beaten track,
keep your eyes on the road ahead,
'cause you're never coming back.
As all the lost and sorrowed souls
float past you by and by,
the others all just pass the road,
and follow the dark pink sky.
You're on the road to nowhere,
you're passing under time,
keep your eyes on the road ahead,
'cause it isn't just in your mind.

WEll, anotehr weekend I can't wait to be over, yet, I want it to linger...
I want it to linger because I am practicing with Awaeken Saturday, and then going and playing Capreol Days Battle of the Bands.
And yet, I want it to be over because Marie's not here, and she can't get a ride to the concert from her camp, where she is every weekend anyways.
The toughest part is I know she wants to come, but she has to stop herself because she is her own boss, and she can't just take the weekend off, let alone this one, a Long weekend. The Sales that come from weekends like this are huge because everyone goes out to camp, and as such, lots of people go boating, and therefore get her ice cream. So I would absolutely love for her to be here, but I don't want her to miss out on this important weekend. I have to be understanding. There is no invisible four foot leash in between us, there has to be an understanding of what the other needs to do, and when it needs to be done, and that some things, like jobs, come before attending concerts.
Enough of my being an emo little bastard. you don't need to hear that. but then again, this blog isn't FOR you, is it? heh.
So, yeah, if you don't have a decent excuse, you'd better be at capreol Days Battle of the Bands. It Starts at 7:00 pm, Capreol Arena, $10 bucks at the door, or $5 in advance if you go to the addresses they put on the website and purchase a ticket. so yeah. Be there or be rectangular (worse than square!!!!)

-Iris - The Goo Goo Dolls-
And I'd give up forever to touch you
'Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll
ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
'Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd
understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And you can't fight the tears that ain't
coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd
understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd
understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd
understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I always loved this song. it speaks to emotions, and It is very well done.

-3 days with my band. wow... that's a record.-
well, I've just awakened at my house from almost 3 days of hanging out with Joe, Seline, and Ry. at 7:00pm on saturday, we got together at ry's house, jammed a bit in preparation for a show we did (faith jam). then we slept there, and then hung out all the next day, then played faith jam. we then made plans at 10:00 for me and Ry to accompany seline and joe to wonderland on Monday. WE went home, and I dropped into dreamland at midnight for a 4 hour sleep before we had to head out again.
We then headed out to wonderland, where i had to listen to joe and Dominique (the couple who say that they aren't) go "i miss you" "you're fun!" all the way to wonderland. Love them as I do, it gets rather annoying. anyways, we got to wonderland, got out admission tickets, and then went to random rides. I almost got on vortex. i was proud.
i also found out I like the wooden roller coasters better than the metal ones, mostly because of the lack of loops and upside-downage. that and i don't get the whole "holy crap the hanging part of the ride is gonna snap!" phobia. because wooden roller coasters don't hang.
Overall, a very good day.
triples doubles everyone

so, yeah, uh... *cough* i'm really really bored currently, and don't want to do my work right now. So, i'm gonna post here.
I got a forward today, and I grumbled about it. As much as I love to know how much people care about me, and as much as the quotes are very cool, forwards are a pain. if you're going to send them, at least just copy the actual message to a new email, and then send it. Don't just add to the hugeassed list of people who have sent it as a forward, making it like, 1Megabyte. That happens to be half of my meagre inbox space that hotmail provides me. I get emails concerning things I don't know, and they need to be read. I know you care, I know you're my friend. I love you all too, but You don't have to send me an email to tell me so. If I'm really your friend, I know that you are my friend, and I care about you too. But I don't send forwards because they tell me what I already know.
And those are the nice forwards. please, even if your life depends on it, do not send me junk forwards. if I get one more forward saying that if I don't send it to 100 people I die, i'm gonna freak. I don't have 100 people on my email list, thank you. and If I press x-f4, nothing ever happens... hmm... and I've never gotten $.01 from one of those money emails... maybe it just doesn't work... and hey, those maimed people who need surgery? bill gates ain't that nice.
So why send forwards at all? hmm... i haven't figured it out.
If you have sent me forwards in the past, that's OK. this is just a buildup of steam. i've had this email since grade 7, and i've been forever getting forwards. most forwards i get aren't bad, like the one i got last night. at least it wasn't telling me that my wish will come true if I send it to 10 people. I already have someone who I love, and loves me back, and that's all I need to wish for, thank you very much.

well, apparently i'm some insensitive bastard. People can't talk to me about emotional things because they're afraid i'm just going to tell them to get over it. apparently i have a screw every rule, screw life attitude, and that it is a turnoff to everyone. so yeah, everyone who needs to vent, don't come to me because I'm obviously going to bite your fucked up little head off...
yay.
P.s. a word to the wise, i was feeling rather emo when I wrote this. so yeah, take your standard grain of salt. it does a body good.

wow, it seems everyone in my life, including myself, has far too many pots boiling at once. we all need to turn off the burners for a while. this is summer, and you're not supposed to have them on that much or they heat up the whole house, A/C or no. Just remember that, and jam along with the bob marley, mon. download some and mellow out. i've had to resort to this, and it has imporved my mood significantly. no cannabis involved (unless you want to, and have the money to do it. i don't).
Jammin', jammin'...

Web page and journal code: Copy and paste the following:
I Am A: Chaotic Good Dwarf Fighter Bard
Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
Race:
Dwarves are short and stout, and easily recognizable by their well-cared-for beards. They are hard workers, and adept at stonework and engineering. They tend to live apart from other races; generally in deep, underground excavated systems, and as such tend to be distant from other races.
Primary Class:
Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.
Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

I was thinking about death just before I decided to post, and you know what, I don't see the true meaning of death. What is it? Is it to rot and fuel the grass to help feed another generation of herbivores, who in turn feed the next generation of stuck up-snobby kids? is it to reflect upon the life that you had, a record that slows down every time you come to the part where you screwed up? is it a blank nothingness? Maybe that's the real point of life; to make the most of what you do, and help ensure that the next generation isn't screwed over. because after you die, the sun rises just as it usually did, and eventually everyone forgets who you are, but maybe, just maybe you'll do good enough to help the human race survive just one more day...
You have a choice of whether to walk in sand or mud. the sand may be easier, as the mud is thick, but in the end, footprints in the sand fade away, but the prints in dried mud may just fossilize and be pondered about and remembered for many years to come...

I had an urge to post in this weblog today. I'm not sure why but since I am doing so, I shall tell you about the past few days...
Monday: What DID I do monday? i think I did filming for my friend's movie... or was that tuesday...
Tuesday: see monday...
WEdnesday: Had a movie night at my house, watching par tof some random movie, then fight club (very good), then after some people left, Transformers: The Movie. good times were had by all, and my mom came down the stairs at about 2:00 when we were cleaning up, and said it was time to pack it in.
Today: Uh.. more filming for dave's movie. that is all.
So yeah, my week has been more productive than the one previous, and I have been trying hard to keep a smile on my face (I told you I would try marie). So far I have been mostly successful, but when everyone is gone and I'm alone with my thoughts, my smile goes away...

you all know about how I feel right now, so why bother posting about it? and yet, i'm posting right now... a picture just isn't the same as the real thing, and neither is hugging a pillow. if it was, i'd be less out right now. i'm just kinda in a daze. not real hungry, not real tired, not real awake, not real anything. maybe i'm not real at all. maybe...
come down from your pedestal and see,
my visions of insanity,
you see me look out into the sky
and yet you really only half know why
and i'm not going to tell you...
