Earth, Air, Fire, Water.
I pray you protect your children,
As you have always done,
And as I pray you always will do.
I pray you teach your children right from wrong.
I pray you teach them how to draw boundaries,
How to find their limits, both emotional and physical.
I pray you teach them to find the easy way
What I found the hard way.
I pray you lend them ease and comfort,
When most they need strength as well.
I pray you lend them songs and smiles,
When most they need a shoulder to cry on.
I pray you forgive them.
For what they have done in the past,
And what they might do in the future.
I pray you forgive me.
May Sun light the way, Earth keep them strong, Hope live in their hearts, Love reside in their souls, Hate be banned with a smile, and Happiness come forth with their presence. May the immortals protect their children.
