Hee hee jazz is back! Omgoodness today's practice went really well. Of course some annoying people were still mad at Lesk afterwards, damn me being able to see and understand almost every point of view. Volleyball players are still missing, and they're gettting annoyed at practice too, so that'll be fun when they come back.
I'm wondering how to get the entire jazz bands bums in gear, there are a few people who are there for the fun but not to put in the commitment, but there are still some who just dont like practices. Oh well.
I could hear Regan yesterday!!!! I've never heard her part before... And then I did, and realized that our parts mesh. And then I really missed her today, because I couldn't hear the meshyness.
Yeah... We need to get rid of a few guitarists/bassists/pianists. But not necessarily the worst of them... Which makes things hard. That and at this time of the year everyone's practiced and deserves their spot. Other than that I think our sections are finally how they should be, just enough balance on all the parts. At least as a school jazz band there is. I'm missing ensembles, they're soo much closer knit... Oh well, I can't have my cake and eat it too!

hee hee hee...we're getting ready to do a mass jazz concert with all three high schools in milton...you're coming down for that, and i don't care if i have to come up, and then kidnap you in my suitcase on my way back...other fun jazz people should come...yeah, it'll be good.
