Summer Woes

Summer's coming! It's warm enough to jump in a lake, so I love it. However for now it's June, and June always sucks.

For some of us this is just another summer, one to get out of school and have fun. Make money, make time, make memories.

For others time is up, their memories of highschool are made and this June will be the time when they finally realize that over the course of the past year they've grown up. Yes, they've done the one thing they swore they never would - they grew up. And for those people I have hope that they will succeed in their endeavours, and that they will make their mark on the world. All the while I know, that they have all made their mark in my heart.

To those of you moving on, to bigger schools and higher levels of learning, or straight to reality, the real world, and the work place: never forget the past four years. Hopefully you can all remember highschool as one of the best times in your lives, and cherish it forever. Youv'e survived late night cram sessions, drunken parties, formal dances, broken hearts, love triangles, childishness, mean teachers, and early mornings, hopefully to come out on top knowing that you can conquer them all and that you can smile at the end of the day.

Never forget these past four years, and never forget the people you shared it with. Sure, those of us who are left are still children, and yes you're all a little tired of our stupidity - but hey! you were once one of us! Remember the smiles and the laughter that we've shared. And hopefully, if we never lose touch, that we will share time and time again!

*hugs*

The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things...

I still have another year yet to go, and i regret not leaving this place to go see a psychiatrist. it's the onyl way i'll ever get the past four years out of my head.

but hey, they say the ones who just had to grin and bear it turn out to be normal. there's always hope, right?

I'm going to miss all the grads. they're my friends, some of which i'v only know for a year, some i've known since i moved here. and I'm sad I'm not moving on with them, but i'm not ready to go yet. no, not yet.

Moving on is the greatest accomplishment of growing up, and quite possibly the hardest. The memories will live on through the impact they had on our character and our lives but the memory itself, the details the person place and thing, most will simply fade away. Not that we wish to forget (though in some instances we do) it is just that time changes everything...

Forever is a long time.. and time has a way of changing things

Thanks Marie... I needed that.

Of sailing ships and sealing wax; of cabbages and kings.

Pigs DO have wings my friend.
