Funny, I learned that those letters are a way in which to live life a while ago. Which explains why I was so mad this morning. Any person on this planet can tell you the significance of a flag being flown at half mast. But can they explain why this morning the flag wasn't at half mast. With the passing of a friend to many in our school, and a public aknowledgment of this the flag should been flown at half mast. Sadly at lunch a friend and I had to go request that the flag be lowered.

I have to agree with Ali. The world is going to the dogs. It has been going that way for a long time. It has just become more noticeable in the last little while. The flag shouold have been at half mast. I never knew the guy, but I'm sorry that he is gone, and (as someone else said, I think,) the least the school could do is make that small gesture of RESPECT. Sadly, that word is one commonly used, but not often seen.

Hey, it's Jordan, the mostly-silent band geek.

About the whole half-mast thing... my dad pointed that out this morning as well. Jeez... no sense these days....

No, she loves the sports ppl

She sent me to the office for calling marcus a moron, but kutschke mouthed off to her, and then proceeded to talk about the copious amounts of drugs he had on him, and all she said was "Gonna win at wrestling today?". Tell me that she doesnt care about the sports teams now.

tee hee

Hey City Kat!
I guess I know how u feel. I use to live in the middle of no where. But Sudbury is a poor excuse of a city. Now Toronto is my city. ^_^ To live in an apartment by myself, with a cat...on the top floor, while listening to the sounds of the city as it lulls me to sleep. *sigh* thats my dream.

Well Give Darien my love! ^_~

Ya... umm Chris... Noble cares nothing for sports. She likes us band geeks. Jeez people need to learn how to get to know the admin on good terms before they judge.

Its appauling...

that it wasnt flown at half mast, but the administration at this school is, anti student so what can you expect. if you dont play on a sports team you arent important.

my mom and i agree the flag should have been automatically been flown half mast

i never knew him but i am sorry

hmm...

funny, i think you've beaten even my record for most posts in a day.

on to other stuff...

i'm now sure that the world is going to the bloody dogs. no one knows what those...wait, gotta count...umm...ah, 7...letters mean anymore. flags were flown at half mast when trudeau died, and i'm fairly sure no one at your school knew him personally. the least the school could do is lower the flag in RESPECT (look! there are those...7...letters) for the passing of a person many people knew personally.
