Half a year later...
I'm no longer working at Toppers Pizza. I kind of miss it, but not some of the people. I had a brief stint at Sitel, working under their Rogers campaign. But ultimately I ended up working at Mr. Lube. Working on cars. I love it. I love working on things with my hands. I love problem solving. I love complex machinery. The customers are great, and my coworkers are great. My bosses are a little annoying, but I don't mind. I can honestly say I've learned more in the past three months than I have in any span of such a time. Relationship wise, I'm happy with Tiffany. I spend almost all my free time with her. She's great, but gets upset at herself often, so I worry. Socially, I'm a hermit. I rarely see people, including my three other roommates. I spend way too much money, and I don't have time these days to really do much of anything else. That's my life. Current rating; A-

Working on cars does seem to fit you somehow...And hands on tasks being a better teacher than a classroom also sounds about right. I know this is a long time after that post, and that things might have changed, but I am glad that you are happy or at least as far as I can tell.
If I Google-search my online handle, one of the first results is me commenting here about something we have in common and you implying I'm rude for bringing myself up in a comment on your weblog.
I just thought I would add another layer of irony by, you know, commenting that to you. I'm sorry if it's horribly rude. I thought you might forgive it for its punchline.
But actually, happy New Year. (I was surprised to find you still keep this blog.)
