Question.

If a cup is filled halfway with water, is it half-empty or half-full to you? 
 
Me: Well, Steve would agree I'd say something like, "You going to drink that?" But my answer would have to be to pour it into a smaller glass, so it's more full than empty. 
 
Answer: Wrong. There were only two possible answers. Obviously you can't read the fucking question, dumbass.

Like I said earlier, I would say "Who cares?" However, if I had to choose half empty, half full, I'd have to agree with Marie. It's all relative. It all depends on the mood I am in, and where the glass is, and whether it is being used as a metaphor. By the way, I don't think you are manipulative, or use other people to achieve your own ends. I think that you are very careful not to use others to help yourself. This is going to be a long comment, as I have not had the time to respond to several logs. As to your post on Monday, I have to agree with both Kyla and Marie. Marie, that was a great post. And Jesse, if ever you don't want to throw things at Marie, feel free to talk to me, or any of your other friends. We're all here, and we are all ready and willing to listen and help in any way possible. As Marie said, you can bitch, you can whine, (though neither of those sound like things you would do, everyone needs to let go sometime), you can just talk if you want. You can cry, laugh, or even just sit in silence until you are ready (if ever). I am always ready to lend an ear, and anything else you need. Hell, I'd even donate a kidney! (That was a really weak stab at humour in an otherwise serious post...) On a different note, if a friend needed one, I really would donate a kidney. I'd rather help others than myself. Strangers, friends, even enemies. Anyhow, the basic point is, if you ever need it, we are all, as Marie put it, a phone call away. Or even closer at times. Just remember that we all love you, and we're all here.

It all depends on what's being done with the water in the glass. If it's sitting on the counter, it's half full. If someone's drinking it, it's half empty. However I tend to say half empty when I'm not paying attention...
