I do seem. .
to have chosen a favorite book of the Bible! I finished Job today, and I really enjoyed it. (started it yesterday) I'll start Psalms in the morning, hopefully have it done by the end of the week. I'm currently reading a book called, "Being seventy: the measure of a year" by Elizabeth Vining. I got it, later realizing it was a journal of the author kept through her 70th year. I decided to go ahead and read it, thought it might be interesting, give this young brain a look into a older brain you might say. It's proven quite interesting, given me a look out on what goes through an older persons mind about age, dying, etc. Also, she taught the crown prince of Japan, when he was a young boy, and in the book she takes a trip back to Japan. At this time, the crown prince is pushing 40. It was quite interesting to read about her trip there, the people, and all. I've just about completed it, then I've got 5 or so more library books to read! Well, we'll be heading out homeward bound tomorrow. Well, I guess that's it for now.

You surely do read an awful lot of the Bible in a day. I could but I don't for the simple reason of wanting to absorb it, and not just skim over it like it was just a book.
I've yet to read a journal, autobiography, [fill in the blank] comparable to that of Jim Elliot. Read it. You will gape at such faith, such struggle...such honesty; words penned not to impress (he could not know the fate that would effectuate its publication), nor to imply an obvious intellect. A humble, in-depth conversation from a man to his Love.
lol I think I would have to agree with JC... lol it takes me a long time to finish chapters!.... I Love journals!! I think that is way I have always written in one!... I look back and read entrys and I find myself very suprised to what was going on in my life at the point and time :P lol hey Beth hehe I found the entry I put when I first met u at the park on a home school outing! *grins* lol we clicked right away! *smiles* well I hope you have a Wonderful day! That would be something interesting to read. I couldn't imagine publishing a journal though.
You go through books of the Bible way faster than I! It'd take me a month or more to get through Job.
