If y'all aren't adverse to praying for animals, I'd really appreciate it if you'd offer up one for my rabbit, Spot. The best I can figure out is that she somehow twisted and/or sprained one of her hind legs, whilest running about her pen in fear of a bear. (beware bear! If thou comest back, thou shall forfeit thy life!) She lies about, doesn't seem to give her too much pain, but she can't put any weight on it. I've given her water with a spoon. Am sure t'will heal fine, but as a 'mother' I naturally worry. Thanks alot.

Oh my, James. How very awful! I know how it feels, once I lost a litter of 8, six week old bunnies. I cried all day, and felt awful. I’m glad your dog didn’t kill them. I was just wondering how old they were. Were they fully furred? Were their eyes open? I know how wiggly and squirmy the little ones can be. Before I had rabbits myself, I went with a friend to visit another acquaintance’s rabbits. I held a young one and it backed right out of my hand and fell to the ground, thankfully it was unharmed. But I felt bad and embarrassed. Young kids just don’t realize how very fragile (any) young animal is. Even though my little brothers know to be careful, I don’t allow them to handle my baby bunnies until their about a week or so old. Today I let Isaac(8) hold my 11 day old bunnies for the first time. He loves them, and is pretty good with them. He knows he’d never be let within 50 feet of my rabbit pens if he were to ever toss a bunny in the air. I’m sorry you had to go through the bunnies dying, it’s very awful.
About Spot, for a few days I was really worried about her. But then she became more alert and perky, I think the pain slackened. She still just lays around, which is good so the leg will heal. She won’t drink from her water bottle, just from a small tuna can. (I use them in the winter) She’s not eating much, she’s looking so skinny! (Dad used to tease about her being so huge) She could use a bath, but I’m too afraid of hurting her leg.:| I think it will heal up just fine. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern!

*cries*

our dog found four baby rabbits, like two days ago and so that it would not kill them( it's an instinct, ok? ) we brought them inside. they were sooo cute! we named them after the four LOTR hobbits. well, it goes like this, everything was ok, we thought. some times, we might be holding one and it would just jump from our hands and land on the floor.( and the floor wasn't hard, but still) and than, we had some little kids over, Cheryl and Deontay, and they were playing with them( would you call trowing them in the air, playing with them? ) when we saw them do that, we would stop them but...I think itwas just toooo late. one after the other, died...died...died...died. *cries*

I'll pray for you bunny, Laurs.
