There's a hint of Autumn in the air!

The leaves are beginning to turn yellow, the ferns turning brown. Ah, indeed. We haven't started getting that cool, crisp, freshness in the air --which I so like--yet though.

Today is rather sunny, with a wind blowing. My type of day. I do so enjoy a windy day!

We've been keeping busy moving into the house. Long process, but enjoyable, in a sense!

Thanks for the comments, y'all!

Actually, I'm not sure how much carpet we'll get. I was just saying it'd be a while before we got much flooring. My sister and I were thinking of going with a vinyl flooring, possibly a wood looking vinyl, we haven't decided.

Yes, everyone's different! (as you and JC illustrated;)) My Mum is also partial to wood floors.

No, we actually have concrete floors (it's really called gypcrete, just nobody ever knows what it is:D), personally I'd prefer the plywood to the concrete, but oh well.

so you're going to be living with plywood floors? Ouch!

(anna, wood floors are nice in the kitchen and dining areas, but nowhere else!)

Yeah!

Glad to see your house is coming along! I would personally prefer wood floors to carpet, but everybody is different.

Humm. .well, the house is painted, windows are in, but no carpet. That probably won't be for a few years.

Yeah, we're planning on getting the boiler, so then we'll have in-floor heating! Whoo!;) It'd be nice. Thanks for being happy for us! The house is far from completed, but it's liveable!

Awesome!

So you have carpet, and windows, and siding, now? *grins*

I'm happy for ya, it's been a long time coming and I'm glad you're not going to have to do the winter thing again.
