Im baaaaack
Cuba was the shiz!!! I loooooved it. I wanna go back NOW.
Me n Helen made new friends...Maxine...Cam...Scott...Beau(Kyle)...and Justin. We all hung out together n stuff.
The hotel in Toronto we stayed at was alright...food sucked...and it we had to wake up at like 2:30. Cept we were up earlier cuz we couldnt sleep. lol Then we took a bus to the airport and spent most the time in the Tim Hortans line up and then went on the plane. Started watching The Incredibles...then fell asleep lol. When we got to the airport in Cuba (if you can even call it an airport..it was so small) we had to line up for like ever to get thru and then we got on our bus...and it was an hour and 40 min drive to the hotel '_' It was a loooong ride. But we got there and found our room...and then we went swimming and stuff. Then all the other days we just hung around the pool and went to the ocean. One day the waves were big that the knocked us down...and then like on wednesday they were SO bad that all the seaweed from out in the middle were like wrapped around our feet n stuff. Yuck.
Monday we went on a jeep tour. Kinda time wasting. We went to a school which was about the size of this room...and it only had 3 kids. They sand and then we went to a farm where we ate chicken as we watched chickens run around outside..how nice. That country is poor...you'll think your having a bad day..then you see the houses these people live in...its sad.
Tuesday we went to this island thing. I rather have just been back at the hotel with the gang lol but yeh it was still cool. We slept on the beach n stuff and me and helen went kiyaking and stuff then the boat ride back was AWESOME. haha the waves were huge and we went in the front on the boat and tried to like surf on the deck..it was so hard...I pretty much fell on top of Helen haha..it was so fun
Then everynight us 7 went to the disco...oh yeh...no one really went. We didnt go to dance, we just went to sit and hang out...then we would go out to the dock and Helen would take mental pics of lights and we would try to see what animal came out of it. Did that for about an hour. Oh and one day...we all definately played frizbe for 4 hours at LEAST. no joke. Yeh..it was fun tho. Then we stole some kids ball bcuz there was a hole in the volleyball....and apparently I look like Cindy Lu Who from the Grinch...haha :S

Cuba guys hit on everyone haha...its so true. But honestly...EVERYONE is SO friendly in Cuba. We drove around in the jeep and everyone just waved to you and they all say hello and it was just so cool.
Well...I drank for my first time. haha. I had half a beer...then I couldnt drink it anymore cuz it was soooooo gros...so I just got these things called 'screwdrivers' and drank those. They were yummy. I didnt get smashed...not that dumb...got a little tipsy one night...but that was it.

Theres this bridge over the pool...and the guys wanted to jump off it soo badly...so last night...at about 1ish we went to the pool and they payed a security guard 6 pecos to let them jump and so they did haha it was so funny. Oh and then they stole a peice of bread from the restaraunt..actually not piece...a loaf...they had it all planned out to the throw it out the window...but then they just walked out with it. Still funny tho. And theres this rock thing under a light...and we all wrote our names on it. Good times.
There was this little kid there named Mitch. Cutest kid EVER. He loved the camera...yep
There was this iguana (sp?) by thr stairs on the way to the beach that lived there...it was huge..and you could go near it and it wouldnt even move. Then last night walking back from the beach this huge cow was coming towards us...and out of no wear a horse that was there made this noise and me n Helen and Maxine just screamed and ran..lol. (theres wild horses and cows and goats and animals that are just randomly in Cuba)
But yeh...overall...it was SOO awesome. I would go back there like...NOW. Actually, I wish I was still there. I dont wanna be home. lol Waaaaarm Cuba. man oh man.
On not such a good note....my aunt died tuesday. My parents picked me up from the airport today and were all dressed up...and I kept asking why but they wouldnt answer me...then we got into the car and I saw this thing of flowers and I was like okay....so why are you all dressed up? My mom turned around to me and was like we went and saw Aunt Diane today....and I just knew. I started to cry. My brother hugged me...he looked so sad. My mom started to cry. It wasnt good. The funeral was this morning. Which sucks cuz I didnt even get to say goodbye. I kinda wish they would have done it Saturday...since tomorrow is good Friday. But they all just wanted to get it done and over with....so I guess no saying goodbye for me.........they thought she had more time to live. She was supposed to go to a nursing home next week to get theopy on her leg. I knew she was going to die because you cant cure bone cancer...but I definately didnt think it would be this soon. Ah man...not fair.
But yeh. I'll just think of Cuba....*sigh*

Heey julie! haha cuba was AWESOME like best time of my life! im glad were keeping in touch with the 'gang' as you said! mitchg hasnt emailed me yet tho!hahah cutest kid ever! anyway im glad we didnt get sick of eachother and if anything we got closer! DEFINITELY a good thing hehe well id go bak anytime too like now sounds good..i hate it here...oh and since every1 sed sumthin about drinkin..come on ppl we were on vacation what a great place for her to drink for her 1st time! hah im proud of you julie! you trooper! there is nothing wrong with drinkin..nope nothing at all! well i had an AWESOME time and im glad you did too! i love you! and yea if you need to talk bout anything im heere!
LoL well I'm glad to hear you had a nice march break! pff damn you an being all tanned amking us all look so pale! geez! meh its all good! And with the drinking thing.......I don't think its bad as long as you know your limits and you don't get out of hand, and start to make an ass of yourself infront of ppl! But ya its all about limits!!!
But geez could you rub in that it was al nice and warm where you were while we were all freezing our ass' off here! lol damn you! But it sounds like you made soem sweet new friends(Who are not bad looking AT ALL...lol Lovin the pics) and you have some sweet memories!
And aout you aunt as I told you before! I'm here ofr you if you need to talk cause I've dealt with MANY family deaths my whole life! and so I know what your going through! and you may not be able to say goodbye then, but there are many other ways to say goodbye! just remember that!!!!!!! We're all here for you girlie!

Welcome back! Sounds like you had an awesome time. I am so jealous you went somewhere warm. And for the drinking, I think it is alright if you are with a couple really close friends, and you're not getting completley drunk because then you're just having fun and such, but at like parties and stuff it's dumb cos then you just act stupid in front of everyone. Anyway, glad to hear you had a good time and sorry about your aunt.
personally, i dont think that drinking is too bad as long as you dont get completely shitfaced. thats just my opinion tho
and the trip sounds like it was freekin awesome and im SO jealous. lucky you and yur trips*_*
and poo on yur aunt dying. deaths in the family definitly suck. but yah if you wanna talk, i am also here for you cuz i know how it feels.
