Searching in the Darkness
As the sun sets on this world again, I'm plunged into the dark Scouring this darkened plane, I continue the search for my heart Though the search seems hopeless, I continue on in vain Because I must find an end To this neverending pain Searching in the darkness Stumbling in fear As the search becomes more hopeless, I sense the end is near But as the darkness starts to lift, And my fear and dread subside I discover that my heart has found A new place to reside My thoughts and dreams are all of her She captivates my heart She's put an end to my search And saved me from the dark - Lex Larmon 2003 Please feel free to leave a comment or e-mail me at: lex_larmon@hotmail.com Name the songs I include in my posts and win a gold star!

Finally, I can post my poem
Well, after a string of co-incidences that always ended up with my writing book in one place, and me in another, I finally brought it home and now I can unveil my piece.
Searching in the Darkness
As the sun sets on this world again, I'm plunged into the dark Scouring this darkened plane, I continue the search for my heart
Though the search seems hopeless, I continue on in vain Because I must find an end To this neverending pain
Searching in the darkness Stumbling in fear As the search becomes more hopeless, I sense the end is near
But as the darkness starts to lift, And my fear and dread subside I discover that my heart has found A new place to reside
My thoughts and dreams are all of her She captivates my heart She's put an end to my search And saved me from the dark
Hope you guys like it. Even though I wrote it for myself, it's nice to hear feedback.
Goodnight,
Lex Larmon

Hi everybody! (Hi Dr. Nick!)
Let's see, this week. Well, the career day was interesting. I learned a bit, but more importantly, I got a day free of classes. :D And tomorrow we're heading off to Mattawa for the ecology center, which should be a lot of fun. I was "sick" on Friday. Actually, I just didn't really want to go to school. So it turns out that I won't have had any classes between last Wednesday and this Wednesday. :) I've been trying to post a poem of mine, but I keep forgetting it at school. So I probably won't be able to post it until Tuesday night. But there are rumours of there being internet access at the ecology center cabins, so I may be able to post it tomorrow night. Oh, and it was Darien's birthday on Friday, and as far as I know, nobody got hurt. Happy birthday Darien.
Song of the Week: Knocking on Heaven's Door by Avril Lavigne. It's originally a song by Bob Dylan, and Avril redid it for an "War Child" album that's been put out because of the war on now. It's a great song to begin with, and I think she did a good job with it.
Question of the Week: Do homeless people really get knock-knock jokes?
Highlight of the Week: Friday. I got to chill at home. I really needed a day off. (Yes, I'm aware thursday was a day off, shut up.)
Lowlight of the Week: Again, there wasn't really anything wrong with this week. The only thing that got on my nerves was Battle.net not working today.
Signing off, this is Lex Larmon for Danchan's we::blogs.
(Why did I put that?)
