Layi Vi Na Gayee

I was searching for the meaning of this song. Being Punjabi, it took her less than 10 seconds to absorb the lyrics, simplify the meaning and make me understand it...

The song went thus:

Ho Layi Vi Na Gayi Tanhayi Vi Na Gayi
Ho Layi Vi Na Gayi Tanhayi Vi Na Gayi
Meine Marda Jahan Menu Sara
Teri Meri Oth Pe Gayi Soniye
Je Mein Tootiya Marto Tara

And I don't know why the magic of this song never fails leave an impact on me...transporting me to a different world altogether. Whatever may be the reason, the song kindda reflect my current dilemma...
