You ever get that feeling that you should have kept in touch with people but didn't? And then you realize how marvelously many people you could say that about? Ever notice how many people who may have been good friends at one point, or turning into good friends at the very least seem to have slipped away without you noticing? "Keep in touch." What touch? Words on a screen? The occasional "Hey, how ya doin'?" Is that keeping in touch? So many people I can say that to, so many people I don't know anything about anymore. Nothing of substance to back up the face.
