I'm bored and I don't have much to say, but I haven't posted in a while so what the hell. I am proud to say I am no longer broke. I babysat this weekend. First I babysat on Friday for 5 kids ranging from 8 months to 11 years old. Luckily however the two eldest played to together all night so it wasn't that hard, but the bonus was these people paid me $10 an hour. That's awsome, more than minimum wage. Everyone else I babysit for only pays me $5. I hope I babysit for them more often. I babysat again on saturday, but unfortunately one of the kids got sick. But I am proud to say I made $100 bucks this weekend, plus my brother owes my $20, I still haven't got my birthday card from my Nonna (which alwyas has $50 in it) and Simon owes me $20 (which I don't expect to get back), so I feel rich. Also my friend Jocelyn bought my ticket for the Hawaiin Luau because she owed me money, that means I actually get to keep my money, yay! Speaking of the Luau I was making a skirt for it because I have like 5 pairs of jeans that are unuseable so I decided why not cut them up and make something useful. So first I thought my sewing machine didn't but it did, and then the bobbin ran out of thread, so I had to put a new one in, but I had no idea how to thread the bobbin, and then I searched on the internet and it worked, for a little while, then it just plain broke. So my skirt is only 1/4 of the way done so it won't be ready for the dance which makes me sad. Oh well. Today I had to present my english oral presentation, but of course I am the biggest procrastinator ever, so I wrote it all during everyone else's presentation. I work so much better under pressure. I see noone's commented on my trip to New York, ya I don't think I would have read that whole thing either if I were you. Lol. [ add a comment ]
