Building a Campfire 101
1. 8 Matches, be prepared to lose at least one.
2. LOTS of birchbark, I believe all the trees around my house are bare.
3. Patience for a real fire to start not just the huge burning birchbark
4. Marshmallows, once it's started there always has to be food.
Mmmmmm I now smell like campfire.

Old phone books are great for starting fires. Rip, crumple, ignite. Just make sure you have enough wood.
