I have a presentation tommorow in TOK (Theory of Knowledge, basically philosophy) which is worth 60% of my mark, I have spent about 14 hours on it already so I decided I needed a break, hence I am on the internet. I realized yesterday just how much of a nerd I am because I got up early, on a Saturday, to work on this project. I have never done that before, and what's odd is I don't mind that I did. I spent basically all my free time yesterday and today on it and I have never done anything like that before. This is the most time I've ever spent on a project and it's weird, normally I never do my homework and just the thought of it makes me want to hurt something, but I didn't mind giving up practically my whole weekend to it. Odd. Most people don't seem to enjoy TOK, but I do. Well obviously I would have to because I chose to do it, because I'm not in full IB I don't have to do it but I chose to. Don't get me wrong it is an incredibly demanding course and extremely mentally exhausting but it isn't like normal courses. It's not memorize this and spit it out. It's come up with you're own opinions and back them up logically. This is the hardest part because first of all I'm usually a sit on the fence type of person so it's hard to choose a side and then after you've chosen the side back it up, but the problem is when I start to make my argument for backing it up I automatically see how someone with a differing opinion could prove me wrong, and because it's philosophy there is no right or wrong. It's hard but I enjoy it. However I'm glad that it's only one semester because it's so mentally exhausting I don't think I could deal with another semester of it.

Never is a promise..

LoL, I wouldn't mind a class like that.. I hate memorizing things, but stuff that you actually have to think about is kind of fun.. Specially if its your opinion that you have to back up.
