I have very SHOCKING news to report....
The Calvary Mens softball team lost a game.
Again.
13-2. Ouch. I think I was the only person on the team who was hitting... pretty much at all. I was 2-3 with a double and a run scored. It was just... a very sad game. I should be batting at least 5 times in a game, and I batted 3 times. Ouch.
The heat was quite opressive on the field. And I'm still alive.
Ohh... but I came home... and learned more about beauty in five minutes than I thought I could learn in a lifetime. There was a sunset happening. The sunset was pretty good... very orange... but the rest of the sky... I saw colors that I didn't know existed. And I'm not joking or exaggerating. These blues fading seamlessly into purples... looking so soft... I have never in my life seen anything like it. Man could never dream of reproducing it. It wasn't just the color, it was the depth and the feel. Man. It took my breath away.

So, I have a new cell phone plan. Unlimited nights and weekends, no roaming in the us. Happiness. I want to get a new phone, but as I've mentioned, money is an issue. The new plan actually helps the money issue, as it is $10/month cheaper.
I've figured out how I'm going to be able to make all of the bills in August. Praise God. I'm not sure about September, but hey, God is certainly faithful.

I am very unhappy with my job right now. I can't make enough money to pay the bills, but I can't get a second job, because I need to get this training done, and there is not a guarantee that I will get any of the jobs I apply for, and it became a really big mess today. I am frustrated.
In other news, I decided to test drive a brand new car today. SOOO much fun. 2004 Subaru Impreza 2.5 R/S. Powerful. I enjoyed it immensely.

It was raining when I woke up this morning. It made the air nice and cool... very easy to sleep in. SO I went back to sleep.
Unfortunately, the rain stopped. I woke up a couple of hours later, and it was roasting again. I've been sleeping without any blankets, window open, ceiling fan and clip on fan on. Doesn't help much. I need air conditioning. Haha. I love summer, though. The heat is so nice. And I can just go jump in the pool. Which I did tonight. That was more for weight loss purposes than cooling off, but it is working well for both. And now, I go to bed.
By the way, Jeff has been updating his blog again, so maybe you should go check it out?

I am a certified ambulance driver. What does this mean? I am now authorized by the state of California, in an emergency or during code 3 transport to break most of the laws by which motor vehicles are governed. SCORE! Haha. It makes me oh so happy. Plus, I can start work. I definitely need that money.
In other news, I am applying for a job at Fourbucks in Truckee. I mean, uh, Starbucks. Oh, and for the next four days, I am running Carly's blog, because she is at Creation Fest. Well, she's not there yet. She's leaving in a couple of hours, though. That should be fun. I've already posted once.
I want to be playing guitar right now.
It is time for a redesign. Any suggestions? Please?
And one last thing... Goodnight.

Some days are just so annoying that you don't want to even talk about them. That would be today.

My eyes are burning! Hahahaha. How nice. I am getting a new cell phone soon. I am super excited for that. With it, I am getting a better plan for less money. Score. I am all for paying less money and getting more. One great thing about it... I will keep the same phone number probably. And the phone, which is a very good phone, will be free. I like free. Okay, really, my eyes are burning. Goodnight.

Wow. Again.
I got to my appointment in plenty of time with my checkbook in hand. I had the wrong form. The one I had was for reinstatements of something. Only the DMV had my form. So, I had to reschedule. Tuesday. I'm not to excited about that. Oh well.
Have you ever had such a calming influence in your life that your problems didn't go away, but they were always put in perspective?

It was a bad day...
I got to Truckee early enough to get a burrito. So I did. Then, I realized that the police station is not where i thought it was (the Sheriff's office is there), so I spent all this time trying to figure out where it was. I finally did. So, i was on my way, and realized that I didn't have my checkbook. At this point, my appointment was in 3 minutes. So I booked it down to the bank... and got there just as the teller was putting the out of order sign on the ATM. LDSFKJDS yeah. So, I called and rescheduled... today at 11:00 AM. I'm waking up in 4 hours. Which is why I'm going to bed now. Goodnight.
Ohhh, I should mention that I came home, and listened to Nickel Creek and talked to Carly, and that really calmed me down a lot.... made it a much much better day in the end.

"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Me oh my. So true.
We lost our softball game today. Bummer. Life is still good. It was an interesting game. We were up first. One run. Then they were up. 3 runs. Then we were up. 0 runs, 1 total. Then they were up. 17 runs. 20 total. That's right. By the end of the second inning, the score was 20-1, them. Wow. Then, we spent the next four innings kicking butt. They did not have a baserunner for 4 innings. We got a total of 15 straight outs, from the end of the second until the middle of the 7th. This is after they went through their lineup 2 1/2 times in 1 inning. We spent this time catching up. In the seventh, we tied the score, but they still had their last ups. We got the first two out... then, a guy got a hit. Then... another guy got a hit. The first guy went to try for third. They threw to third. Bad move. ALWAYS throw to second from center field. I was behind the runner, and couldn't see the ball. It skipped off into the distance, and the winning run came home. Bah. It was such a fun game, though. It is quite a feeling to be down by 19 and come all the way back.
I'm going to look for a second job today. That should be a total blast. Meh. Everyone have a great day!
