Yes,
I got your delightful letter. My response may take some time, however, as my stack of snail mails looms in front of me.

Things seem to progressing well with the house! With the addition of a few pieces of carpet we were given, and a kitchen sink it's becoming quite homey! *g* Believe me, it's my pleasure to stop by and pay you a visit here! I just wish I had more opportunities to do so! I'm at my Gram's now, and boy, does she ever have a list of chores for me to do! Which in reality, I'm pleased about, I'm trying to earn a bunch of money right now, so it all helps!
Ack! I've been thinking I need to phone you for quite sometime! I'm such a procrastinator! Did you get my letter?

Laura! Good to "see" you.
How are things with the house? I'm thoroughly glad you could drop by and pay me a little visit here....I ought to phone you again soon. ;-)

Hullo, my dear friend! Yikes, I haven't talked with you in forever and an age! Either I only get on every couple of days, or when I do, danchan has been down, so I've had to catch up on reading your last several posts. Anyhow, after wearing glasses for 4 years, I know what a pain they can be. Fogging up when I come in from outside, or drain the noodles or something is the biggest problem. I loved contacts, but then I didn't. heh I'll just stick with my glasses after all!
Ohhh, I know what you mean about the puppies. When my Gram's neighbor found two puppies, and was finding homes for them, ohhhhh, I wanted one sooo badly. I even got pictures of the one! *g* Well, I best be off. Glad things are going well for you!

Rachel, are you feeling a bit nasty tonight?!
*chuckles*

*nods in agreement*
Well, I mean, you are a monster...but that's besides the point...
..I know how it feels...

oh boy...
You've hit a soft spot in me. Another place to never go unless you want to feel horrible is the ASPCA. Before we got our current canine 'master of the house' we visited the local animal shelter to see if maybe we could find one to adopt there. All those cats (and I don't even like cats!) and dogs jumping around excitedly, hoping, begging for attention... it was hearbreaking. I think the one that did it for me though ws the one little beagle that sat way back in the corner of his pen, shivering and looking quietly out at us with his big sad eyes. I wanted to take them all home but obviously couldn't. I felt like such a monster.
