It is time to rest...

The sun is setting..  
And the day grows darker..  
Will I ever see the light again..  
Even a flicker..  
 
I wait for the sun to rise..  
To show a spark of light..  
I think I saw it pass my eyes..  
Oh no.. It was a trick of the night..  
 
Waiting for the sun..  
This burden becomes harder..  
How can I carry it..  
It the night grows ever darker..  
 
Duty is heavier than a mountain..  
One that I can't put down..  
But maybe I could pass it..  
To the new generation born..  
 
This road I've chosen..  
I love more than life..  
But maybe I'm not worthy..  
Or else my life I would gladly sacrifice..
