Kaoslord's (negected) World

My cousin is an assasin.

She is seven years old and tried to drive me into cardiac arrest.
Her parents own a trampoline and she goaded me into jumping on it with her. I'm easily lead. Once on the trampoline she demanded that I jump as she directed, to help her perform tricks.
"Jump higher! Higher! Not that high! Stop! Start jumping again!"
This was under the mid-day sun in California, you understand. After about an hour of this, she tells me to get off the trampoline so that she can try some different tricks. I readily oblige only to discover that their family dog Cody (young in years, but ancient in malice) was also in the yard. Besides defecating all over the yard, he had the charming habit of play-bitting. Constantly. From all directions. Under continuous attack, I made my way to the base of a tree and sat down. This gave me shade, limited the directions from which Cody could attack, brought me to a more effective elevation to battle him, and gave me a chance to rest my legs. Soon enough I was called back to the trampoline. All in all, I spent about four hours on that trampoline.
If she spends that much time on the trampoline every day, she's going to grow up with legs like a kangaroo.
I have to say that this was the most fun day of my vacation. I must be some weird kind of masochist. I have sore muscles that I was never even aware of before.

I've got access to a computer so I might as well use it.

I was attracted to Legacy of Kain because of the story. I played through Soul Reaver 2 so I could see what happens next. Certainly not for the indiffernt gameplay. I do enjoy playing as a monster though. LoK Defiance looks like it has the best of both worlds.

I just went game and book shopping. Excuse me, while I gloat over my new riches.

I wonder how long it would take a mystic to transmute their own blood into a sword? It would probobly require a lot of blood. Ten years might be enough.

Giant, magic, blood-drinking spiders probobly would produce amazing silk.

Soul Reaver 2 has an excellent story and so-so gameplay.

I will locate Disgaia: Hour of Darkness.

In fiction I tend toward a unified explanation of magic.

I wonder if there is anywhere near Sterling that teaches Kendo?

Good to be back

I find myself a fan of Inuyasha. I resently got a dish and while basking in the multitude of channels came across Inuyasha on the Cartoon Network. The show was half over and I couldn't figure out what the setting was, but it looked interesting so I remembered when it came on. The next night the story was not continued. Instead the show's first episode was played and I was hooked.
During one episode of the show somehow mustaches and beards were drawn on all the charaters. Not as part of the show, but added later. A goatee would sit in the middle of the screen untill a charater's face moved to intercept it. I felt amusement at the absurdity and anger at the disruption similtaniusly. It is an odd feeling to be laughing histericly while shaking a fist with rage.

Wow, I hadn't realized that it has been so long since I posted anything.

I have taken a 2 week vacation. My mom and I have driven down to Buckeye, Arizona and then up to Victorville, California. I am fairly well entertained, and my mom seems to be really enjoying herself.
Work on my story procedes in fits and starts. I think I have a few proto-hero's taking form. The world around them is still quite nebulous.
I have been buying games for the PS2. Mainly RPG's, a few adventure, and GTA3.
