I knew I loved you when there was NOTHING you could do to make me want to leave you. But then you did everything to test my love, and now, I feel myself drifting away. Maybe I'm not as strong as you need me to be...

Chris:
"firey hot intense passionate love that burns brightly for an instant and then is gone forever" = lust. But good point.
All lust aside, there are two kinds of actual love... mature love and immature love. Don't let the designations fool you, teens can have mature love.
Immature love is filled with selfishness and jealousy, a lack of trust. It could be in both people or just one of the couple.
Mature love is the opposite, where you both give to each other equally and trust each other to be faithful and loving no matter what.
A relationship that starts off immature can turn into mature, and vice versa. Like Chris, I don't know which one you have... but good luck. And from my experiences... trust, communication and compromise are three very important factors in any relationship.
Just to give a bit of advice and all that... take it easy!
Thanks chris... it deos help. i appreceate it
I know we dont talk much (at all) anymore. But I have one thing to say. There are 2 kinds of love (and maybe a few in betweens), firey hot intense passionate love that burns brightly for an instant and then is gone forever and a slower burning, but just as intense love. One love can never last, and no matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to fix that. I don't know which one you've got. But you have to decide which one you've got and act accordingly. Probably not much help, but its my two cents.
