why are people anti-american?
ok. so first of all no one likes saddam, not one arab country, not even osama bin laden likes him. everyone wants him gone. but what i don't understand is WHY do we need military force to disarm him when the UN inspectors said they were making progress and that they wanted more time to complete their work. then US and britain decide no, they don't want to give them more time - why? we don't know because there is no evidence, we've left it for 12 years, but suddenly we can't give them a few months - we give them 48 hours. this is illegal under international law.
ok. secondly. in 1988 who gave saddam the weapons that he killed his own people with? licensed the export of biological materials - including a range of pathogenic agents - as well as plans for chemical and biological warfare production facilities and chemical-warhead filling equipment 20 months after he did this? the good angels of freedom and justice fighting evil in the world, america. god bless america.
so now after imposing sanctions on the country - turning it into a state refugee camp where they only get hand outs from saddam resulting in the death of millions from famine - he has become 'evil' and you are invading him and killing god knows how many more civilians.
don't you realise! these are the reasons that terrorists like bin laden try to kill you! it does not make the world more 'peaceful'.
rather than trying to search and kill every sinlge terrorist, maybe america should think of trying to stop the causes for terrorism which it creates. for instance the extremist islamic jihad group. there are about 10 different types of 'jihad' (holy war)in the quran; jihad of the pen, jihad of words etc, only one of them - jihad of the sword allows muslims to use violence, and this is only when thier land has been invaded. osama bin laden turned on the americans when they deployed troops in his home country of saudi arabia. before this he was trained and funded by the cia to fight off the russian threat in afghanistan.
america has a military presence in about 90 out of the 120 united nation countries. the cia funded osama bin laden and trained him. you still fund places like israel and egypt who's leaders have appalling human rights backgrounds. america isn't liked by so many people anyway, this action just alienates them even more. it will produce more terrorists because american foriegn policy is completely unjust.

Seriously guys, open your eyes - saddam is your basic hitler-type. think of the MILLIONS of lives that could have been saved if hitler had been taken out early...

War with Iraq
First of all, war is not our way of "showing power". I'm sure other nations out there see themselves as superior than others. This war is only a way to help those people in Iraq. They need the help before more and more gets tortured by Saddam and his stupid way of ruling. Also, it doesn't matter if it's the 21st or even the 68th century, we WILL still have conflicts with other nations. Yes, we can just talk it out but that doesn't always work. So, we're left with war.

I don't know what the fuss is concerning this video of U.S. soldiers being interviewed. Maybe these guys were later executed? I don't know. I did watch the video and didn't think it was very horrific.

First of all i would like to say No to war in Iraq ! I hate this way of showing power and solving problems. Man we are in the 21st century and we still have wars. It's terrible I have nothing more to say about this. It's terrible !

I pride myself in habing very original and nice layouts...and I was creating a layout for Tendertears, because she requested it on the project blog... so i made her this loverly site... urgh... and then I go check her site out... AND SHE COPIED MINE!!! i purposely didn't disable the right click thing, because I know (personally) that looking at other people's source codes can help layout formats a lot... BUT SHE TOOK EVERYTHING!!! but I'm still going to be nice and give her the nice layout... hopefully she'll learn not to take other hardworking people's layouts...hmph... but I'll forgive you... (this time)...

Templates with errors
I've changed it such we::blog outputs helpful error messages when errors are made in your template. It will state line numbers and what's possibly missing, like a closing [ENDLOOP] or whatever. Before, if you made an error, there'd be a web server error message instead.

I would like to invite you all to have a look at my blog. Nothing fancy, but if you want to know a Malaysian you could do worse than having a peek at it! Be warned though, it is written in a mixture of Malay & English, so you might not understand some words. But the English portion is about 80% anyway so you'll get the gist of the idea. Any Mac users out there?
Hey there... I just started using Macs exclusively, and have quickly noticed some differences in the way certain things appear and/or function in Mac as opposed to PC. Most of it is better (95%), but there are a few minor, minor things I found "annoying" in both Explorer and Netscape, in viewing and editing pages, as well as other things. One thing I just noticed, is in updating my blog, the bold, italic and link buttons still appear, but they don't do ANYTHING, when you select a word and try to activate them. I have no problem adding bold, italic and link tags by hand, and it's not like it takes a lot of time to do, but I was curious if anyone out there found a way to get around this - a Mac user who has figured out a way so that you could still use the buttons as you would if you had a PC. Just curious, because I don't know why applications in Mac ignore simple commands like this.
