i want to buy a digital camera. I read in computer times that says, 2 to 3 megapixels camera is good enuf for occassional use. does anyone have suggestion? at this moment, I'm considering Nikon Coolpix 2200 and my budget is not more than RM800.

saving regression calculations as shwon in the igraph calculation for intercept and slope over multiple time periods
*QUESTION:
I have a dataset that is looking at activity values over time. The dataset is being used for mixed models and is restructured and I want to save the intercept and slope for each record (n=972).
I have tried to modify the syntax written by the Master Raynald Levesque, (Add Casewise regression coefficients to data file),
but with no real results.
The regression equations are calculated in Igraph so I know the per-case values exist for the intercept and slope. How do I save them as variables?

SPSS and Mathematica
Here's an issue and a question. I am, through analysis in SPSS, creating the X Y coordinates (sometimes I use Z for a 3-D set of coordinates) for a set of items where the number of items will typically be 75 but could range from less than that up to 99. I assume you are familiar with SPSS graphics, if so, you know that I can get a decent plot of the points and some interactive access to the graphs so that I can change the style of points, add labels, adjust graph scales and so on. I stll need to post process the SPSS chart in powerpoint to make it acceptable for presentation. In the future, I need to do the same but would like to add some calculation of additional points on the graph such as the center of a group of points and then label that new point. The labels will be brief titles up to more complete statements as in a complete sentence. That's the issue, here's the question. Can you see a reason for me not to move this additional analysis as well as all of the graphing into Mathematica? This way I could bypass powerpoint. I can certainly write code in SPSS to accomplish all that I need but I am looking for something that will do that and then render a much more appealing visual.

Perbezaan ketara berbanding AF1. Tiada lagi suara2 sumbang milik Liza, Azza, Ati, Burn, Nana, Khai dan Adi.
Mostly this time, sume ok. Cuma Mas yang belum nampak keistimewaan yang sbbkan die terpilih. But for sure all the contestant in AF2 are not good enough for MALAYSIAN IDOL which is not denied is very though to get tru.
At the moment, I adore Zarina for her professionality, and Zahid for the 'keselambaan'. Syabas for the two.

The next time you are stopped by persons who claimed they are plainclothes police, you are under no obligation to answer their questions or follow their orders, lawyers told Malaysiakini today.
"Policeman who is not wearing his uniform does not have the authority to stop anyone," lawyer and human rights activist Sivarasa Rasiah said.
Sivarasa was commenting on the alleged gang-rape of an 18-year-old Uni student by four men claiming to be police officers on New Year's Eve. The girl said that her car was stopped in Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur and were asked by the men to open the car bonnet. She was then told that she had committed an offence and ordered to follow the men to a police station. The girl was driven in her car along the North-South expressway to the Tapah-Cameron Highlands road before she was raped in an oil palm estate.
This incident, and many others, have sparked confusion over the procedures which motorists must follow when flagged down by the
police. The most common problem is that most people take instructions without determining if the other person is really a cop," lawyer Annie Santiago said.
However, if you are stopped by a uniformed policeman, then you are required to stop. But you need not get out of the car because you are not expected to do so, Santiago said. He other rule to follow is to provide your identity card only when you are asked to do so. "Even then, you should get his ID first to confirm if he is a cop. There is no harm in calling the relevant police station to verify if he is supposed to be on duty that day," Sivarasa said.
Both lawyers said that motorists should never follow an officer to
the police station unless one is under arrest. "If you are not sure,
and your instincts tell you that something is wrong, then drive off
to the nearest police station and lodge a report," Sivarasa said.
In response to the alleged gang-rape of the 18-year-old, Women's Aid Organisation executive-secretary Ivy Josiah called on the police to launch an education program to teach the public about their rights to prevent them from being victimised by bogus police officers.
Procedures to follow in the event you are stopped by uniformed police Officers while driving.
Stop the car and wind down your window. If the police officers ask for your documents, request to see their IDs first. If you are satisfied about their identity, ask them if you are being summoned, and for what offence.
Produce your identity card and driver's license and wait to
collect your summon ticket.
In the event that the police officers ask you to follow them to the
police station:
Ask if you are under arrest and for what offence.
If you are not under arrest, you have the right to leave.
In the event you are flagged down by persons you believe could be
plainclothes police:
Do not stop because plainclothes police officers do not have
the authority to stop you.
Drive to the nearest police station and lodge a report. (The same procedure applies to pedestrians)
In the event the police come to your house:
Do not let them in before checking their IDs. If you are not satisfied, phone the nearest police station and confirm if they had been sent to your house. You are under no obligation to allow them into the house if they don't have a search warrant. Do not go with them if you are not under arrest.
In the event persons who claimed to be plainclothes police come to
your house:
Do not let him in because they do not have the authority to do so.
Lodge a report at the nearest police station.

Aku rasa mmg susah nak menaikkan industri filem tanah air kita. Buat filem macam buat apa jer. Pemikiran tak panjang. Penyiasatan hampeh!
Aku paling tak suka filem2 arahan YUSOF HASLAM. Ntah macam mana filem dia dapat box opis. Suruh adik beradik sendiri tgk kot. Tolong lah En YUSOF HASLAM! Carilah idea yang lebih bernas dan cerita yang lebih menarik lagi memberangsangkan serta berisi untuk ditonton.
Aku puji filem2 arahan SHUHAIMI BABA. Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam patut mendapat pujian dan sokongan dari sume pihak. Inilah satu2nya cerita hantu yang aku rasa paling realistik, paling masuk akal dan dalam masa yang sama amat menyayat hati.
Aku paling suka babak di mana Maya Karin ditikam secara tidak sengaja. Ngeri, sedih, kasihan, takut. Sume perasaan tu berbaur. Babak ini dapat memberikan impak yang besar kepada penonton. Kerana di situlah puncak segalanya.
Kehadiran watak Ida Nerina (Si Tam), berjaya menggelitik hati penonton.
Kesimpulannya, bukan filem2 seperti GERAK KHAS, SEMBILU, mahupun CINTA KOLESTROL ATAU PASRAH yang kita perlukan. Untuk memartabatkan industri filem negara, pengarah2 kita perlu lebih rajin membuat kajian dan siasatan terperinci serta mendalam sebelum memulakan mengambaran dan tolonglah pastikan kelogikan cerita, kerana penonton tidak buta hati untuk menilai prestasi filem negara sendiri.
Mungkin kerana itu CD CETAK ROMPAK LEBIH LAKU BERBANDING ORIGINAL. Rugi kalau beli original. Tak best, tak puas hati. Baik beli cetak rompak. Murah pun murah. Kalau x best pun... ala... berapan sen sgt.
Aku sanggup menghabiskan duit demi sebuah karya yang bemutu! Maka dengan itu hasilkan lah karya yang lebih bermutu wahai karyawan2 semua!

semalam aku baca sedutan intv. kak lin@utusan dengan si puteri gunung ledang tiara dalam www.filemkita.com. urrgh!! aku pulak rasa cam nak bagi penampar straight kat muka "kak lin". buduh!! dalam hati aku. adaka dia pegi tanya tiara macam ni. "ok, tiara kata PGL ialah kisah cinta, tapi tajuk puteri gunung ledang tak menggambarkan yang itu adalah kisah cinta" (lebih kurang cam tulah ayatnya, tapi maksudnya begitulah) this is the most dumbest question from someone....mmm..dari seorang wartawan utusan? oh kak lin...awak represent penduduk malaysia yang mahu tajuk yang macamana? cinta kita, cinta kolesterol, ada apa dengan cinta. bagaimana dengan Titanic, Elizabeth, Pearl Harbour? kan tu cerita cinta. aku ni bukan pengkritik filem...tapi aku tak dapat nak menolong diri aku dari tidak mengkritik kak lin ni. bukan soalan ni saja..soalan2 lain pun lebih berkisar benda2 yang negatif. kaypo dan risau sangat soalan bayaran untuk crew dan pelakon.

should i stay?
i know i shouldnt get involve with 'em. but i can't help my self from keep steping into their room and hanging out with 'em. they'll give me some bad attitude. something that i've guide my own self with my own conciousness. the'll ruin it all. i know those thing but i cannot stop myself from getting close to 'em. and now i found that my self is moving to their room. there're may be advantages why God make me feel that way. TEST ME! Hope i can bare it, and i will did it.
Situation
I was talkin with a friend just last nite, no need to mention specifics, but hes in quite a situation. It was probably the first time ever, i was on the receiving end of a bad situation. Should be quite a day, got everything planned out, now lets see if it'll work out. Probably post another one before days end.
PS. I lied, i didnt post the last one before the end of the day.

Removing Gallstones Naturally...by Dr. Lai Chiu-Nan
i received this info from a friend and i'd like to share this usefull information with everyone...
Gallstones may lead to cancer. According to Dr. Lai Chiu-Nan, "cancer is never the 1st illness. Usually there are lots of other problems leading to cancer in my research in China. I came across some material which say that people eith cancer usually have stones. we all have gallstones. It's a matter of big or small, many of few".
Symptoms:
- a feeling of boaltedness after a heavy meal. you feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area.
Regimen:
1) Fisrt 5 days - take 4 glasses of apple juice everyday or eat 4 to 5 apples. Apple juice helps softens the gallstones. during the 5 days, eat normally.
2) on the sixth day, take no dinner.
at 6pm, take a teaspoon of Epsom Salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.
at 8pm, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.
at 10pm, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.
3) The next morning you will find green stones in your stools.
"usually they float. You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many. Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder clean up now and then".
....let's try and see the result. I haven't try.

luka dihati siapa yang tahu
kehidupanku...penat aku... dari kecil sehingga besar selalu saja dugaan yang datang menimpa jendela hati ini...hemmmmm aku tak tahu apa akan jadi pada intitusi keluarga ku....mak dan ayah dah bercerai...... aku senang saja terima .....itu adalah jalan yang lebih baik daripada melihat ayah dan mak bergaduh...membuatkan hatiku bertambah tersiksa....tapi aku ingatkan perperangan akan berhenti setakat ini saja tapi nampaknya sangkaan ku meleset .....bertambah teruk keadaan keluargaku jadinya... aku sedih bila kakak ku yang sedang study di uitm sakit...mak dan ayah pulak bertekak bila bertemu....tok dan wan pulak benci keluargaku aku pun tak tahu mengapa...adakah kerana keluarga ku semikin dan besar tak dapat berikan kemewahan pada mereka aku tak pasti...dari kecil hingga aku dah tua bangat macam ni....tok aku benci nak tengok cucu nya ......dulu waktu kecil mak aku .....cuba berikan terbaik pada keduanya,....tak pernah pun mereka menghormati mak ku sebagai... menantu..walaupun dicaci... kami tetap menjenguk mereka tiap hari....
