Blessing in disguise

House without women equivalent to messy and disorder. At least that’s what I felt.

With bibik have to be send home because of her sickness and Mem out of the country, I have to juggle between things to keep the house in order. Thanks to my 1 year "husband-ry" course cum MBA (Master Bela Anak).

Most of the time is spend in ensuring the children school's needs. From their schools cloths in the morning, rights up to homework and tuition classes in the evening. And then there were the school bags that need to be ready for tomorrow's lesson.

My children, most of the time they were the obedient lot. But sometimes they need a lot of persuasion.

And it seems there were no time left for house cleaning and to put the house back in order. Maybe I have to schedule that for weekend.

One of the things that worry me is what to prepare for food. What to prepare for the children lunchbox? What’s for lunch? And how about dinner?

Thank goodness, my mother just live next door. She agrees to look after her grandchildren while I'm at work. Since Along and Angah did not have overlap time in the house, an adult have to be there for Tina.

Since mum has to be at my house in the morning till around 2:00 pm (that is when Along comes back from school), mum cooks at my house. She then brings back some meals to her house for dinner. Now I can rest assure that the children will have lunch with their grandmother or persuade to have lunch by her.

During normal days, I rarely have the opportunity to have my mother's homecook meal despite the fact that she just live nextdoor. So during this turbulent time, how good to have my mother's homecook meal again.
