You Define Success

Success in anything depends on an individual’s goals and aspirations. For one runner, anything less than winning the marathon is failure. Another runner may be thrilled just to complete the race.

A business powered by our company helps individuals achieve many different definition of success. For many, the goal might be a better lifestyle. But most of us define success in their own, perhaps more modest, terms. Some of these include:

Paying the Bills
Greg and Robin Hall, for instance, were just looking to pay off debt and get ahead. This may be the most common short-term goal for new Partners.

Time Freedom
Many Partners cite the “time freedom” that a business powered by us provides, allowing them to stay home with children, help with sick relatives and friends, or enjoy time with a spouse. Denice Morales Kennedy, for instance, was grateful that the business provided her with the .flexibility to help a recently widowed friend and her four children. Orthopedic surgeon Fred Davis, meanwhile, had created a good lifestyle for his family, but his medical practice didn’t allow him time to enjoy it. Fred was able to spend more time with his family after building his business powered by us.

Education
Educational goals are important for many of us partners. “Thankfully, we can afford to send our eldest daughter to college in the fall,” says Steve Henriquez. Another IBO, Damon Garrett, was able to make his daughter’s dream come true by .financially supporting the release of her band’s .first CD.

Opportunity
For some, Qur business provides opportunity where none previously existed. Our business has “enabled an immigrant couple like us from India with absolutely no business background to have a chance to earn all the great rewards of business ownership,” says Manoranjan Behera.

Security
A business powered by us brings security to some, including Anne Talbott who says, “because of our business and system , we are enjoying our golden years.” Sharon Beitler adds, “We now help take care of my daughter’s triplets who are 18 months old. What a great retirement!” Gib Fox says, “The extra income and mentoring set us free of major debts and let us build an investment portfolio. Even as a senior officer in the Air Force, I’d been unable to do that previously.”

Personal Growth
Jim Mercon points to “great friends” achieved through his business. Personal growth is a common benefit of a powered business. “I now know more about people skills than I ever would have in my former profession as an accountant,” says Albert Joell Jr. Sherry Bridges agrees, saying, “When we .first started our business we did not see how the business was going to help us grow as individuals. That has been the biggest plus of all. The people who are associated with us are some of the best.”

And then there are the little successesupon which a price tag can never be placed. Brian Corson met his future wife, Tina, in the business. “The profits from our business paid for her engagement ring and most of our wedding. We didn’t have to ask our parents to help out. It was a great feeling being able to pay for my wife’s dream wedding,” says Brian.

Helping Others
Helping others is yet another definition of success. “We provide the funds to dig freshwater wells in remote villages in underdeveloped countries,” says Rick Fairchild. “We are currently working on our tenth well,” he adds. Khris Nedam also uses her business to achieve her philanthropic goals. To date, her business has helped provide a well, a school, a medical center, and other necessities for the well-being of kids in a remote village in Afghanistan.

You’re in Control
Whatever the goal might be, we can help partners achieve it. Bob Durling says, “I saw an opportunity to take back control of my life, while having a business of my own that both my wife and I could work together. Today we enjoy traveling together and spending quality time with our family and one another.”
