nyawa-nyawa ikan + kebodohan melampau

hidup aku sekarang hanya dipenuhi deadline, deadline, deadline yang tak tau bila nak habis entah. aku ada deadline mesej, deadline speeches, deadline Q&A yang datang satu persatu sampai tak sempat nak angkat muka dari skrin komputer ni. semuanya nak sebelum sabtu ni. (err, tapi sempat gak nak membebel kat blog ni).

aku ni tengah berdebar2 takut kena kerja weekend ni dan masa raya haji nanti. sapa kata staf kerajaan kerja senang. aku ni sebenarnya dah kehabisan idea nak menulis pasal isu yang sama. dah tak larat nak pusing ayat dah. memang dah nak nyawa-nyawa ikan dah aku ni.

aku rasa macam nak hantuk-hantuk kepala aku kat dinding sebab kebodohan yang melampau. hari tu bos aku suruh pergi tengok Final Draw AFC kat KLCC tapi aku kata malaslah sebab aku tak rasa kalau aku pergi, aku akan dapat jumpa dengan nakata. aku tengok event tu live kat astro ajer.

esoknya, bos aku kata dia duduk belakang nakata. lepas tu masa makan dia orang mingle2 aje dengan nakata siap ambil-ambil gambar lagi. terkulat-kulat aku dengar. arghhh! menyesal gila ni tak pergi hari tu. nyesal, nyesal...kalau tak aku dah dapat kahwin dengan nakata dah. hahaha...we can dream cant we?

ngok betullah aku niiiiiii....you know in football, i like a player because of his skill and good looks to me is a bonus because once he shows his skill on the field, you totally forget about his looks but nakata is the kind of player that i watched purely for his look, not that he isnt skillful or anything. i just like to look at him. hehehe..mak oii! kenapalah aku ni kadang2 mempunyai kebodohan yang melampau????

two weddings and a trip to Manila

i dont know whether fate has dealt me a cruel blow when both of my colleagues (same age as me) got married in the same month recently. in the office, the muse sits in front of me while sidda sits right next to me. and people (the rest of my colleagues, actually) thought their wedding charms would rub off on me. my boss has suddenly made it her mission to find me a boyfriend. sigh!!well to be honest, their weddings didnt make me feel desperate or pressured to kahwin myself. im so happy and excited for them really, a little envious perhaps but that's about it.

congratulations to the muse and sidda. i went for both weddings though. the muse's wedding was so simple yet lovely. i met kak wan azizah there. she's so beautiful, so cool. actually i almost miss the muse wedding because of my manila trip. i had to lie to the press sec and the officers and told them i was the pengapit pengantin so that i wont have to go one day earlier. there's no way i was going to miss the muse's wedding. they made a lovely couple, the muse n zane (the great painter).

anyway, sidda's wedding was in muar but i went for the reception in KL last week. sidda, the chelsea's fan was a beautiful bride and her husband look handsome in his songket attire. sidda and i have become quite close since she joined the organisation a few months ago.

i wish i could go to sidda's kenduri in muar but i was sick at the time. actually, i wasnt well for almost a month now. i just couldnt get rid of this bad cough and the sounds of my cough horrified even me not to mention the rest of my colleagues. i couldnt stop coughing even when i was in Manila. i coughed when i was attending the dinner at the ambassador's house in manila. it was so embarassing but people took pity on me. every one of them tried to help by giving me lots of petua. and there is this one journalist who called and check on me almost everyday just to make sure im ok. hahaha...

in the end, my boss took charged and brought me to her herbalist. that' s when i found out a lot about the condition of my body. it was quite a scary experience. apparently, i have weak lungs. so for the time being no more cats in the house, no gym, no fried food and dairy products for me. sheesh! how boring would my life be from now on, well at least until im healthy again.

i really miss my cats, gendon and kaka. gendon has become fatter and fatter while kaka is quite a romeo kampung, according to the report made by my anak-anak buah in seremban that is. and i miss going to the gym. i'll probably start again next year.

right now i'm mad at my friend liza for cancelling our trip to singapore this week. i didnt want to speak to her, well at least for three days, that's my limit. hahaha....my moodiness cost me a dear friend recently but hey that's life.

as for my short trip to manila, it was an interesting journey. on my last night there, i managed to visit hard rock cafe manila at 12am, lepak at manila bay around 1am. manila bay was a waterfront with a difference. the long stretch of bay filled with live music of every kind and restaurants/bistros (rasanya takde yg halal).

at 2am, i visited the walled city or Intramuros. there's no picture available because we didnt dare getting out of the car. but the place was simply amazing, i tell you. even from inside the car, you could still feel as if you were in some kind a traveler's machine or something.

"Walled City" - Intramuros was built in 1571, during the Spanish colonization of the Philippines. it had been one of the world's best preserved medieval cities. The site is a timeless journey through forts and dungeons, old churches, colonial houses, and horse-drawn carriages.

and then we cruised along the red district (malate). macam chow kit ajer lebih kurang tapi lagi daringlah.

the next morning, i went to green hills to do some shopping. oh hell, it's where the golongan marhain macam i pergi shoppinglah kan. fake goods punyalah banyak and most of them are either from korea or china. i found my dream adidas shoes there. well i did buy two handbags and lots and lots of pearls. gila betul.

i've been trying to pujuk liza to go to either manila or ho chi minh next year but she's reluctant to go. in her mind, its bandung, bandung, bandung....ok, i'll think about it. last april, we spent 7 days, 6 nights in bandung, itu pun tak cukup lagi ker? sebenarnya, aku pun rasa macam nak pergi bandung lagi. hahaha...
