My champions league game started today and the game was between Milan and celtic.let’s get straight down to business shall we? It’s the first leg of a knock out game and Milan is playing away from home.
There’s no doubt that it was a handicapped Milan team that was out facing celtic. Armed with an unconvincing goalie, milan’s back four need to be invincible in order to keep the ball away. The game started well enough I guess but Milan got a scare in the 8th minute when nakamura’s superb pass had almost got in if it had reached the intended target, was it miller or lennon, I couldn’t remember.
Maldini as always was in a class of his own but the tackle he did on the celtic player was really clumsy and perhaps downright dangerous. And with nesta still out injured, he couldn’t really afford the yellow card.
It’s always a pleasure to watch kaka plays but he has to pass to his striker or be more of a team player. i think sometimes when he tried to shoot from that long range, it was more out of frustration than the need to score, aku rasalahkan. (memandai aje) haha...
Gourcouff had done so well last night, moving the ball forward. He has the potential to be a great playmaker, well perhaps not as great as zidane, who can beat zidane anyway. He’s hard working and quite tenacious when trying to win a ball.
What’s with kaladze and gattuso giving the ball away cheaply. Milan cant afford to do that. And you know, the pundits were all in awed of milan’s 1-2 touch play but I wasn’t really into it you know even though it did look exquisite when the players did them.
Gilardino almost scored in the 25th minutes if not for the saved by the celtic keeper. That was one lovely save though.
I told you that ambrosini wasn’t good enough to be in the starting 11. that shot of his was way off target.
You know when I watched Milan plays, it was like the team had a dual personality or something to that effect. One minute they played brilliantly and the next thing you know, they started to play poorly. The midfielders sometimes look like they have run out of ideas. There’s no creativity and except for pirlo, none of the others were convincing enough to get the ball forwards.
Milan was definitely in crisis – they have no credible strikers. Oh my! Gilardino choked in front of the goal? NOOOOOOOOOOO! Why?? You are so confident when you played with parma, what happened? You prefer to dive than scoring? What the hell was wrong with you?. It was so simple, just make the shot. The fans wont hate you if you failed to score that goal but to dive in the penalty area like that with the whole world watching was unforgiven. Even if you wanted to dive, make it believable at least macam si penipu christiano ronaldo but not like thislah. Sigh!!!!
Kaladze wasn’t really known for his grace but fouling your opponent at the edge of your own penalty box wasn’t a smart move. I swear my heart nearly stopped when nakamura took the free kick.
Celtic was far more dangerous at the start of the second half but they were not much better than milan in terms of finishing. The build up between jankulovski – kaka – gattuso was lovely but the finishing was poor. Then again, what else is new?
Over all, the game was a stalemate but strangely not boring. Milan even when they played poorly still show some class. As for celtic, the unknown factor of a minnow team can be dangerous. Though not in the same level as milan, the team is able to catch milan by surprise. I hope ac milan will advance to the quarter final. Till we meet again in san siro. Arriverdeci!
ini cerita dua minggu lepas. walaupun aku balik seremban hampir setiap minggu tapi kalau nak jumpa dengan kawan aku si liza tu punyalah susah. kalau tak buat appointment awal mestilah mak dia dah booked dulu. aku rasa itu salah satu tanggungjawab kalau duduk dengan parents.
memang aku dah janji dengan liza nak makan kat johnnys tapi dia tiba-tiba ajak pergi port dickson lepas makan kat johnnys. aku siap bawak tikar dengan gitar buruk aku tulah dan buku-buku cerita auntie. konon nak tengok sunsetlah, nak lepak tepi pantai, hirup udara segar. hampeh! bila dah makan kat johnnys tu, masing-masing kekenyangan sampai tak boleh nak bergerak. hahaha...
kalau pergi jusco seremban, aku dengan liza mesti tak miss pergi kedai yang jual barangan jepun. baju-baju memanglah cantik tapi saiz punyalah kecik. entahlah kenapa daripada dulu lagi kita orang selalu ended up beli barang yang sama cuma kadang-kadang warna aje lain-lain. alasan kita orang, seorang duduk kat kl, seorang duduk seremban, so tak kisah kalau beli barang sama.
sebenarnya ada dua insiden dalam hidup liza yang bila dia cerita buat aku gelak berguling-guling. dah lama aku tak gelak macam tu. pengunjung kat johnnys pun heran tengok aku gelak macam hyenas. tapi sayang, liza made me swore not to write about them in my blog. aku cakap bukannya orang kenal kau pun dan lagi satu bukan ada orang baca pun blog ni, kau sendiri pun tak baca blog ni. dia kata tak boleh jugak. geramnya aku.
1 februari hari tu aku sebenarnya dah janji nak bawak liza naik star cruise. aku dan rakan writers yang lain dapat invitation dan masing-masing dibenarkan bawak partner masing-masing. dia orang semua bawak husbandlah, pakwelah, so aku pun ajaklah liza pergi. malangnya, program tu dah ditangguhkan. lagilah aku geram.
lepas tu dia cakap dekat aku, masa tahun baru cina, dia dengan kakak dia akan ikut rombongan cik kiah pergi kelantan. bencinya aku. kinead mesti dah ada plan dengan husband dan anak-anak dia. inilah masanya untuk lepak dengan family pulak walaupun aku jumpa dia orang hampir setiap minggu. sejak enam bulan lepas, hubungan aku dengan kakak aku makin rapat. dulu masa aku ramai kawan, aku tak pedulik sangat dengan kakak aku tapi sekarang ni aku rasa dia adalah antara best friend aku. hahaha...
kinead pulak sejak pindah kl ni selalu aje ajak aku keluar hujung minggu. pergi one utamalah, nilai 3 lah. aku bukan boleh sangat nak ikut rentak dia tu yang gila shopping. akhir bulan disember tu , aku keluar dengan dia pergi one utama, habis dekat RM400 duit aku beli baju kat somerset bay tu. hilang akal betul aku. cukuplah kinead, aku tak boleh nak keluar selalu dengan kau, boleh bankrap aku.
aku rindukan gendon dan kaka sebenarnya. mak aku tak kasi aku bawak dia orang balik kl. kaka dah jadi macam anak harimau, aku pun sendiri takut tengok perubahan fizikal dia. ya Allah! besar gila. semua orang ingat dia kucing hutan yang liar dan garang. tapi bila dia start buat adegan golek gelentang dia, tak macho langsung. gendon macam biasa, berlagak primadona.
aku ni sebenarnya boleh berniaga kalau aku nak. dalam masa dua bulan aku dah berjaya memujuk empat orang officemates aku join gym. hahaha...yang terbaru si sidda. ya, bolehlah kita orang conquer gym tu. hehehe...
akhirnya, berjaya jugak aku edarkan baju-baju terpakai untuk mangsa banjir kat johor. sebenarnya, baju-baju tu dah lama aku kumpul daripada mak dan kakak aku tapi malas nak hantar. konon nak buat charity tapi nak singgah kat angkasapuri yang dekat dengan rumah aku tu pun susah. ke hulu ke hilir aku bawak karung baju dalam bonet kereta aku. sampailah ofis aku hantar memo kalau sesiapa nak derma baju boleh hantar ke division. barulah aku hantar. teruk sungguh perangai aku ni, kalau mak aku tau habislah aku.
