There Can Be Only One
azzurri's new PUMA jersey was finally unveiled last monday at the san siro, milan. the azzurris will wear the jersey in the friendly match against Portugal tonight.
so much for the publicity given to the designer neil barett. i thought he could have at least come out with a better design than this. if im not mistaken, he's english. what does he know about the italian passion, right??? hehehe...
personally, i prefer kappa to be the brand of their jersey.
remember Euro 2000 where everybody went ooh! and ahhh! over the tight-fitted jersey. fortunately, i managed to buy the original kappa jersey before they change it to PUMA.
barett said he got the inspiration from the protective armors worn by the Roman gladiators a long long time ago. what protective armors, the jersey look slightly loose to me compared to the elastic kappa. oh well, we'll see, we'll see...
74 days and counting. i couldn't wait for june to come. i wanted so badly for the azzurri to win. they had disapointed me time and time again. i hope this year will be their year. for the time being, i'll just keep on watching the semi-final game between holland and italy in the Euro 2000. i don't know how many times i'd watched the tape even though the commentator was speaking hungarian. thank you henrietta for sending me the tape all the way from hungary four years ago. i don't know where you are now but i guess football did bring people together.

haha, thought so you'd be having the dutch italian game story writtten here.  well at least you get to watch it again. hey can i borrow it from you? darn man, my tape that was 3 hours solid just about nesta sent by coral was lost in the delivery, still frustrated after 3 years. Curse those people who doesn't know how to take care of people's belongings. argh, where's the efficient services they so called promised in their virtues?stoopid. anyway oh yeah, hen's working in a cruise ship. currently she's somewhere around the carribean islands, one of those, cuz i received a postcard from her last week. want to shout out any messages for her?
oh, trap's renewing his contract...! *groans loud* probably I'm one of those who despise this chap, but he hasn't done any good this past few years with the azzurris. get lippi in this. just so long that old geezer is out. he's so favourable with totti, i just can't stand it. he forgets other great italian players out there, c'mon alex is a great player, but he doesn't like him. why am i not surprise if fiore is not in his list. *groans louder* ...apologies if you're not as crazy as me about trap. tsk. btw, where's zoff? he's gone with the wind. i miss him.
