i dunno why, but in some way she reminds me of my own mum.
my mom is a very hardworking woman. She is a nurse, so i can bet her work is very tiring. When I was little, she used to work using shift system. Sometimes in the week, you'll never see her because she works till 9pm, sometime her shift started at 9pm.
On top of that, she always have some small business in hand. You name it, pinggan mangkuk, carpet, and even small catering. Just like merryhearted. I dont even know how she can pull it off.
Another thing that i remember about my mom, she never bought us anything. You want that stuff, you earned it. Good lord the only things that i like to buy is cassette. it didnt cost much, so no need to work hard there. I grew up with no electronic game like ps or such.
Just like merry also, my parents finished paying their old house in maybe 10 yrs too, and still have some money to buy a new, bigger house.
hmmmm...guess im missing home right now. Pardon my english...im sooo sentimental right now.
